Google Cloud is once again named a leader in the 2020 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services (formerly Infrastructure as a Service, or IaaS). For this quadrant, Gartner evaluated the cloud providers offering infrastructure as a service where Google Cloud can be seen close to Microsoft's Azure.

Within the report, Gartner positioned Google as a Leader in data analytics, machine learning, as well as commitment to large open-source projects such as Kubernetes and TensorFlow.

Among the many benefits of the Google Cloud Platform, is innovation in services such as AnthosVMWare Engine and the introduction of Active Assist.
